Prices for new buildings: a lull before the election
The price of the primary new buildings in UAH in February has returned to the pre-New Year level and has amounted to 23,000 UAH per square meter, which is 700 UAH cheaper than the January figures. The construction company "Intergal-Bud" has told "KyivVlast" about what to expect with the prices for new buildings after the elections, and also about whether to buy real estate before the elections.
The price bottom in the real estate market has already been passed. Now very attractive prices and a good time to invest. So, if we talk about renting, then, renting an apartment in the new building, you can earn up to 12% per annum. It is much more profitable than deposits.
And investing at the initial stage of construction, you can sell an apartment after putting the object into operation with a profit of 25-30%.
If we talk about forecasts, then there is already an understanding that the cost of apartments in new buildings by the end of 2019 will grow within 5-10% per square m. In addition, in 2019, the primary housing market in Kiev expects a reboot. Many companies will be forced to leave the market, suspend their projects or significantly increase the cost per square meter. Only the strongest will survive. And only a select few will be able to reduce the pace of construction and launch new projects.
